As you look for a nozzle, keep in mind
- what you need to do
- what are the pipe characteristics you will be cleaning (size/slope/material)
- when using the size and length of hose you have, what pressure and flow can your jetter deliver at the nozzle
Some nozzles combine angles to “multi-task”, but most likely you will have to use 2 or more nozzles on any job, each doing a different task to produce a clean line.
Styles
Our nozzles fall into 2 broad categories:
– Drilled orifice nozzles are inexpensive, but wear quickly especially if not maintained.
– Nozzles with replaceable inserts are engineered to tackle the toughest obstructions with power and efficiency. With regular maintenance and repair, they have a long life span, reducing the cost of ownership.
Nozzles with Replaceable Inserts
Reaper Nozzle
A powerful multi-purpose nozzle (cutting, cleaning, flushing). Heavy-duty, high-impact stainless steel housing and tungsten carbide seat and tip.
– Rotating forward jet blasts a cone of water up to 4,000 PSI
– 2 NPT sizes with 6 gpm to 18 gpm options
Warthog Nozzle
Warthog nozzles use a controlled rotation technology which gives the jets time to penetrate and break up deposits.
– Superior results in nearly all applications, cutting, cleaning, removal
– Easily serviced to give you long-term use in the field
enz® Nozzles
Engineered for maximum efficiency. Construction processes ensure wear resistance and long life. Ceramic orifice inserts offer outstanding durability.
– Rotating nozzles have dynamics to disintegrate deposits
Drilled Orifice Jetter Nozzles – standard forms
Button Nose Nozzle
Short body and smooth round nose reduce hang ups. Ideal for working in turns, traps and elbows.
– Knurled sides for hand-tightening
– Suitable for most general cleaning applications
Hex Nose Nozzle
The mushroom shaped head allows for steep rear jet angles giving maximum pulling power.
– Requires wrench tightening
Radial Nose Nozzle
Heavy weight nozzles ideal for larger jetters and jet-vac units.
– Smooth finish
– Wrench flats for tightening
– All are ½” NPT, other sizes are available
Drilled Orifice Nozzles – specialized forms
Degreasing / De-Icing Nozzle
Jet nose style nozzle is effective for flushing grease or ice on shorter runs.
– Good for more heavily obstructed lines
– Limited pulling power / distance
Drop Head Nozzle
Flexible joints conform to the shape of the pipe so you can navigate P-Traps, vertical drops and tight bends
– Suitable for smaller lines
Rotating Nozzle
Maximized sidewall cleaning. Spinning side jets create a wall of water for full coverage giving the final polish of a line.
– No heavy blasting action
Maintenance
Inspect your nozzles for cracks, plugged jets or worn threads and maintain or replace as necessary.
We carry maintenance kits for Warthog and Reaper nozzles to extend their working life. Kits include replacement components or fluids. See our Nozzles shop page.
Tip cleaners (below) can help keep drilled orifices open and clear. Thread sealant is recommended for use on threads of button nose nozzles.
